Impact

  • Founded Maned Wolf Games in 2021; Arithal is the studio's first game.
  • Combines classic adventure with turn-based battle mechanics in an original world.

The challenge

Arithal is set in a world that suffered a devastating flood millennia ago. Only high ground is livable, and knowledge of the world before "The Drowning" has faded into myth.

What I did

Founding the studio

I founded Maned Wolf Games in 2021, and Arithal is the first game we are releasing.

Outcome

Arithal is in development at Maned Wolf Games.

  • The Arithal title screen: a hooded figure on a moonlit snowy pier, with Play, About and Exit
  • A snow-covered village with timber cottages under falling snow
  • Turn-based battle on a glowing tactical grid in the snow, with party portraits on the left
  • A lone figure under a full moon in a snowy pine forest
  • Dialogue in the snow: a portrait and a line of text beneath a cloaked character
